It is all available right here on this website for free. Just go to the education tab and download the material. The video course can be played for students right from this website.
How long is the course?
Each of the eleven sessions are approximately two and a half hours long. We recommend that you teach it in one week intervals for eleven weeks. Or you can slit them in half for 22 weeks. Another option is to delete sessions 2, 10 and 11 for an eight week course.
Can I modify the curriculum?
Yes you can make changes to the PowerPoints in the event you want to shorten the class or delete or add a new slide. If you are just shortening the class for time's sake we recommend that you do not shorten the curriculum as it can serve as a reference tool for the student in the future.
How can we teach the course in eight weeks?
If you are teaching the course, this can best be accomplished by deleting the last two sessions and combining the first and second sessions as the teacher sees fit. If you are showing the videos in class, at best you can do is delete sessions 2, 10 and 11.
How do we present the course?
You can show the videos right from this website on a video screen and the students can follow along with the curriculum booklet. Or a designated instructor can watch the videos and then teach the class with the corresponding PowerPoints. Another option is to have the students watch the videos from this website at home and the class can consist of a discussion using the PowerPoints.
What grade level is the material?
All the material can be used for students in high school and above.
How can the course help with my evangelism?
We start most of the sessions with a list we've compiled of the most popular questions on that topic. We then go through the session and recap those questions at the end, giving students well rounded answers from some of the greatest Christian philosophers, evangelists and apologists. The answers to these questions are presented in such a way that it can easily be remembered. Session two is dedicated entirely to doing evangelism like Jesus did, by asking pointed questions and directing the conversation. Several of the sessions close by providing the student with a host of questions that the student can use on skeptics to undermine and expose their worldview quickly.
Does the course take a position on controversial issues?
No, the course is free from any denominational issues and it does not take a position on the age of the earth. In the session entitled Evolution, Naturalism and Creation we have a disclaimer at the beginning because we use prevailing scientific views to discredit evolution. But we make it clear that we are not taking a position on these scientific interpretations, rather we believe discrediting prevailing views as they stand is the best approach for the evangelist.
Can I provide a link on our church website?
